Didn't care for the sales guy giving a father and son a tour of the family locker room while I and my daughters were in the shower. The son tried to look through the slats in the door.
Shower and bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Not that it's bad, but I've seen busier gyms have it cleaner.
I complained that this is going to create a dangerous situation one day and was told kids should be supervised at all times. If I'm in the shower and my daughter needs to go use the bathroom, then what? I have to stop, dress, walk her there and wait outside the stall because that room is filled with dads and sons up to age 12 too.
We love this place. Making it perfect seems just a little more to go.
I regret to have had this experience.
The family locker room policy is stupid and dangerous. I'll never go back.
Why the problem? I left less than 7 days ago my swimming gear and they "wipe out the found and lost" canister. I asked two simple questions, how does the policy work (they said every 10 to 14 days they clean and donate" so something you left two days ago or 13 days ago will be subject to be donated or scrapped) and the following question what do they do with valuables and what is valuable (a watch, what price level is valuable, what if my swimming gear worth $100 and a watch worth $50?)
I am a fairly satisfied customer of Villa Sport at The Woodlands. I rarely write public reviews but this time I think this media is convenient to test the marketing management of this enterprise.
Love the place. They really try and make an effort to be their best. But there are some small things that seem minor that could be fixed and are not. I.e.carpet in lockers stink. They always have and always will. Having the ac at minus 1000 won't stop it from stinking. It is wet and can't dry up fast enough!!?? Really!???
Love the club! Staff is amazing. Equipment is up to date and never broken. Best of all, it doesn't smell like a sweaty gym! Classes are great, equipment is well kept, trainers are awesome. And the restaurant has a variety of yummy foods. Been a member for 7 years now. Love it!
I will be following up with Kevin (supervisor) and another person that seemed to be in PR which heard my complaint. Robert seems to be a decent person, great self esteem and absolutely 150% proud of himself, but heavily unsuitable for a customer service or customer exposed job.
The facilities are nice looking on the outside, but when you get inside, you see how DIRTY and FILTHY this place is, specifically the Jacuzzis and pools. Literally there is dirt IN the family indoor Jacuzzi. And the women's one is gross. There are dirt / rust stains at the bottom. so much it covers probably half the bottom of the jacuzzi. You don't see it with the bubbles, but after the bubbles are turned off, I don't think anyone would want to step foot in that filthy pool of bacteria. Also the outdoor lap pools look clean until you get close to the lane dividers. They STINK! People pay a lot of money and although the facilities look clean, the water areas simply are not. When you see literally DIRT in the bottom of the indoor jacuzzi - DIRT! - then you start to reconsider why you are paying all this money. I would show a picture, but they don't allow photos in the locker rooms. So great place for some things, not great for others. They have a lot of people constantly cleaning the locker rooms. May one day they can get them to do a deep cleaning of the pools and jacuzzis. GROSS!
"I don't take crap from you" were the words that Robert, a receptionist told me when I was openly upset - with no voice raised or any spectacle was being performed. Those words did follow another interesting sentence.. " We are not here to babysit you". I asked Robert that he will have to repeat those words in form of the supervisor and defiantly he confirmed. Actually, two other employees may have heard.
