This facility is the best! My experiences started with a phone call, where I was greeted by TAMMY who was friendly and helpful. Once I arrived, I met TERRI who was equally helpful and explained the process I would be experiencing. Lastly, I met my Therapist (TOMMY). Couldn't ask for a better Therapist. He makes the painful experience fun....then gradually painless. Select Physical Therapy-Cypresswood is a perfect balance of professionalism and fun! I don't want my sessions to end. We've become friends. You really can't go wrong with any Therapist!

UPDATE: Julie was every bit as friendly and knowledgeable as Tommy. Hand therapy was a very different process than back therapy. All the hand patients sit at a curved table together with a therapist for each. There's a lot of fun banter with patients and staff that makes a painful process seem fun.

I thought I would live with pain the rest of my life, But my Dr sent me for PT, which I thought was exercise. But Rachel has taught me that I let my pain control me and my muscles can control the pain. It's been a wonderful journey. I will always be grateful for the lessons. 1st is the pain will come back if I do not remember my lessons. But everyone that works here are talented & patient PT's. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and will work with you for your appointments. My thanks to everyone.

Tommy did a great job on my back pain! I don't want to be coddled, I want to be pushed to my best performance and Tommy got that. It was hard, hard work but it paid off and my pain level is lower than it has been in 10 years. I felt so good that I went out and fell off a skateboard. When it came time for PT on my broken wrist, I asked for Tommy again. Unfortunately, broken wrists don't come under his umbrella, or I'd be back with him again. But, over the 6 weeks I was going twice a week, I found everyone there to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I'll report back later after I've worked with Julie on my wrist.

Everyone there seems nice and knowledgeable except the therapist I got stuck with, Rachel. To me, she was lazy and bossy. She would come get me out of the lobby 5-7 minutes late even though I could see her sitting there at her desk just eating and talking to her co-workers. Then she would put me on the exercise bike for 15 minutes! 15! That's not skilled treatment. And she would cut our treatment short by 5 or more minutes. So even though I was paying for a full hour, I was really only getting a little over 30 minutes of actual attention, and much of that was her just sitting at her desk, yelling orders at me across the gym. I would highly recommend the other therapists here, but not Rachel. Tammy at the front desk could be rude too, but don't be put off too much by her. She just seems to hate life in general.
