Service was great but prices are abit high
The only thing that made us feel comfortable was the staff.. specifically the front desk clerk. Didn't really come across other staff. But the room(s) we stayed in were not comfortable at all.
Great place. Nice beds, breakfast anything you could want. Just wished the internet was better. Would recommend this place to anyone.
I received a call @ 1.5 hours before check in that the room was no longer available due to a maintenance issue. They offered to book a room next door at their other hotel however that hotel couldn't accommodate a party of five. No other efforts were made to place us in a similar hotel and it was left up to use to find a place to stay so after 30 minutes of searching for hotels as we were driving in from out of state we received a call from the hotel stating that due to an early checkout they could accommodate us. I mentioned my displeasure with this to the desk clerk. She said the hotel overbooks all of the time due to cancellations. In other words, they overbook their rooms to get as close to sold out when factoring in cancellations that will likely happen. She also mentioned that guest who booked through a third party travel site are the first to be notified of overbooking. I mentioned that I booked the room straight off their website but it didn't seem to matter and the clerk didn't seem to be concerned at all with what had transpired. (no apologies etc.) The room was clean. The bathtub had a drain stopper that was broken or unscrewed from the drain. On Sunday morning, I went to the pool/spa (whirlpool tub) only to find the whirlpool tub's water was the same temperature as the pool. On my next trip I plan to stay at a different hotel.
Really great amazing room service and a nice Dish TV. The breakfast is great and there's a lot of variety.
