Strike 3: When I went to cancel my insurance, my new agent told me that my emails ended up in her junk email. What? Say that again?? Your clients' emails are going to your junk email? I had her verify that it wasn't just my emails, but a number of other customers. Huh?!?! That's interesting, considering my previous emails leading up to my cancellation request (I had asked for a new quote on a new policy) were answered promptly with no issues. But once I had requested a cancellation, my 5 emails had mysteriously started to end up in her junk mailbox. These were a combination of emails with and without attachments. One stating the request in email form, another with a SIGNED document attachment, and multiple emails requesting acknowledgement of the previous requests. Heck, I just wanted to know if they were received and were being looked into. Apparently not because they were now going to junk email.Furthermore, I called the underwriter, and they confirmed that Hambrick had not reached out to them for the cancellation request (over two weeks). Just to repeat that one more time - CLIENTS' EMAILS WERE BEING SENT TO JUNK EMAIL FOLDERS. Shame. No way to run a business.

Strike 2: I received a lower premium from another insurance carrier.

Strike 1: I was given a "direct" email contact to my agent. After Harvey (we received no damage), I wanted to add flood insurance. I was overseas at the time, so phone was not an option. I emailed for DAYS. No response. Once I got back to the States, I called, only to find out my agent had left the company and all my emails had gone unanswered. If an agent leaves, basic step 1 is to have their emails forwarded to a general email address where the emails can be picked up by another agent. I did not know if they were out of business, I didn't know if my agent had a medical condition, NOTHING.

I truly wish them the best in the future, but in order to do so, they will need to make some adjustments in their agent/business/customer service structure.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Our homeowners insurance policy was up for renewal so I started shopping around to receive different quotes as it was going up for the exact same coverage. I had to call our representative at their office Maggie several times just to get her to shop different quotes. She never return my phone call. I'm the one that always had a follow up. Finally, she found a policy that would save us $400 a year so I asked her to move forward 31+ days later she's making decisions to reinstate our old homeowners insurance policy without contacting us because she dropped the ball on switching to the new policy. She says don't worry I'll fix it but now I can only save you zero dollars a year . Save yourself the headache and don't work with this company.

Great for giving policy and taking your money; horrible customer service.

I have left a message with their management team and am awaiting a response via email or telephone call. We'll see if that comes to pass. I hope it does. I simply want to voice my opinion to the owner and move on with our respective lives/endeavors.

Please note I have not called anyone out by name and that was on purpose: 1) I am not sure if they will be employed there in the near future, and 2) it is not my place to do so.

Great agency with wonderful service!

worked with the company for 6 years love their service and they always save me money. also they helped a lot with flooding from hurricane Harvey by offering over 5000 dollars in food and freshwater for the flood victims across Houston, Houston strong.

I couldn't be more happier to be with them.

At the beginning, Hambrick Insurance is very nice and they do give a decent (albeit not the lowest rate insurance) policy, but after they had me set up, my experience has been riddled with customer service problems. I really do not wish ill-will on anyone, but based upon my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Having been an employee there I see all the shady things management does there, or as Miss Anna Says "buy time. get the money" If you call them and they tell you they will look into your policy to shop you because you as a trusting client want to make sure you are getting the lowest rate available ...... wrong they are buying time so when its time to renew you trusted them and didn't shop else where and then they tell you that the price you have is the lowest price and you should stay where you are! Horrible management, Miss Anna is the worst!
