The staff is very rude and unfriendly. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Excellent! Very organized and easy to find what you're looking for. Great selection of required reading. Yes, the store credit for trade-ins can only cover half of your purchase, but they do offer much more for the ones they do take than Half-Price Books or other stores would offer in cash. So if you're just going to buy more books like I end up doing, it works out well.
Awesome selection of books, easily browsed (well organized). Very clean and neat and tidy, super cheap/reasonable prices. Employees are always nice and helpful!
Moved here a month ago, FINALLY got a moment to go to this place. I was ECSTATIC to find a used book store (I am a Seattle girl living in TX thanks to my husband's first wife the Army...lol) there are used book stores all over my home city so, it was lovely to find one here! My only complaint is they are quite small and the selection may not be what you want/expect. But that just makes me want to buy more to help support the owner so maybe at some point they can grow! I am always delighted to lend my support to any used book store owner. I enjoy e-books time to time for the convenience but I LOVE the weight, smell and feel of a BOOK in my hands more than any e-book. Please, help support them and keep them aound!!!
This is a comment based on the owner's response: I had a terrible experience at this store. I brought my children to the store to pick out a book. Unfortunately, my 2 year old was pulling books off the shelf beside me. I had every intention of putting every single book back where it came from, but the lady did not give me a chance and told me to leave the books on the ground. It would take her a long time to put the books back and I should watch my kids better. I left the store in tears. My children did not mess up her store in any way and I would have put each book back in it's exact spot. I fully support local businesses which is why I wanted to share a special experience with my children at a used bookstore. I wrote the business a personal email and the owner did not showcase any understanding to my situation. Instead she continued to blame me for my children. I have read other comments and I see that others have had similar experiences. The owner has tried to discredit our comments, but I am here telling you that she does not put her customers first.
I should have read the reviews before doing business here. They don't give you cash for books anymore which I figured was okay. I'll just get credit towards other books my kids would want. I sold books for a large amount of store credit and didn't know before hand you can only use the credit on half of any purchases you make. I have never heard such a thing. I don't have a problem with the store or employees just this policy. I will probably sell books elsewhere from now.
