- The pools and lazy river are dirty. I can understand the leaves and debris after a storm. However, the scaly, brown, nasty sludge that is caked on above the water line in nearly all pools/water areas is just disgusting. The walkways that you go under via the lazy river there is mold and a smell of urine near bushes.
Pros: Lines were decent. Plenty of shaded tables inside the park as long as you get there early. Cons: You have to pay for parking-$10 and you have to rent a tube-$6 for their lazy river. No outside food allowed but you can leave to your car for a picnic. No shade in parking lot and limited areas outside of the park to picnic. Lots of poolside chairs that were empty where people place their towels so you can't find a place to lounge. First and likely the last time I visit this park. Parking should be free and tubes for the paradise river should be made available for free.
- Lines are not long for rides
Pros:
Great water park. Amazingly fun slides and toddlers area. I gave it 3 stars because of the inability to bring in a cooler and the outrageous food prices. $12 for a cheeseburger??? Come on...lets make this a little more family friendly. Even the meal purchase option on the season ticket is outrageous. And drinks......$20 for a cup you have to lock up (because it will get stolen) and then $1.35 refills. However I will say the security is much improved. I felt very safe this year. In the parking lot and inside the park.
Cons:
Considering all of these things my family will not be returning to this park. We have many other water park options in the Houston area for comparable prices that are clean, well maintained and have reasonable food costs.
Best Water Park In Houston Texas. Best Ride line up . This park improves every season. Great staff and the food selection is nice.
- The park itself is small
- Food prices are insane
This place is wonderful! i hope someday ill be able to visit again! i love the fact that they do movies that have to do with water, the little mermaid!! that was amazing!
- Even discount tickets are expensive
- You have to pay for parking $10 (minimum)
- Tubes have to be rented (only rides have provided tubes). If you want a tube for the tiny lazy river or wave pool you have to pony up yet more money.
